Heres some pointless info on the webmistress (*ahem* Me.):

Obligatory Washroom Pic

People call me Mia (Latin; "Mine"). I was born in Rexdale (a suburb of a suburb of Toronto), Ontario, Canada on May 7, 1986, which makes me a Taurean Fire Tiger (Dont ask me what that means.) My mom says I was something like 8lbs when I was born, so I've gained a good 115lbs in the last 22 years. And a little under 5ft in height, but whatever. I was the biggest baby, compared with my younger brother and my older half-sister. But somehow I ended up as the smallest adult. Figure that one out.

Yes, I am a camera whore, thank you.

Anyway, I'll now tell you that Im taken. And how extremely lame does that sound? What I mean is, Im happily involved in a relationship with this wonderful guy I met online - yes, I said online. I fished him out through all the creeps. But really, Im lying. He actually found me, and ever since then my favourite word has been 'antimatter' <3. Yes, I know that makes no sense to you, but no, Im not going to explain it. Just suffice it to say that I am happy and you are not (Why else would you be reading about my life if yours wasnt good enough?)

Aren't we cute? I need to work on getting us a decent picture.

On to my immediate family now, which consists of my mother, father, and brother. I live with my mother, a Customer Service rep at a plastic auto parts plant, and my brother, a loafter (Read: freeloader); My dad left about 5 years ago. I wanted to go with him, but my mother would have nothing of that which was probably for the best; Hes a self-employed electrician and these last few years have been really hard for him. So sometime in these last few years I had the bright idea to become an electrician myself and (somehow - I never figured out how) 'rescue' my dad, in a sense. Dont ask.

My cousin Jess and I. I r edumacated. And part of my Fortinos family.

Getting into an apprenticeship is a lot harder than the government makes it out to be. Maybe if they made a less convoluted system they wouldnt be so desperate for tradespersons. But thats just my opinion, and what do I know? Not much. I took the extended 7-year program to finish highschool. When it was all said and done, I think I had more failed and incomplete courses on my transcript than anything else. This coming from a 'gifted' student. When I finally did graduate tho, I did with honours in math, so I guess it wasnt all for nothing.

My Fortinos family. I am Papaya the Pizza Plate. Me and the Meat boys.

So what did I do with all my spare time through highschool? I worked, parttime at Fortinos. Eventually my boss caught on to my skipping classes, so she asked me to work days for her every now and then. My options: Money now, or stupid piece of paper that may or may not help my future? The choice was easy. And what did I spend all my money on? Tattoos and piercings, pot, alcohol and hair dye, much to my mothers dismay. To date, I have 7 tattoos, 16 piercings, have smoked away at least two years of my memory, accumulated a nice bottle collection, and have dyed my hair every colour of the rainbow except blue (because I hate blue with a passion). Not too shabby for 21, eh?

Yeah, I was a dumb blonde once. But I prefer my hair dark. Or multi-coloured.

Originally, my hair was light brown, with blonde highlights, and red lowlights. And its pin straight, cant do anything with it. I get that from my mom; my dad has wavy hair. I like to keep it shoulder-length or shorter cuz its easier to maintain (and dye) but I think I might be letting it grow for a bit. My eyes are a honey colour - sort of in between brown and yellow, but more brown than anything. Im told they look green in certain lighting. I wish I had gotten my dads green eyes.

So these are old. I want my fucking ball chain back!

Now on to some favourites:

Colours: Red, followed by green and orange. Red/black/white is the ultimate colour combination and makes up the majority of my wardrobe.
Food: For a meal, steak (any cut, medium rare) and potatoes all the way. Chicken fingers and fries a definate second.
Fruits/Veggies: I dont eat much of these, but when I do its usually a macintosh apple, clemtine, cucumber with salt/onion dip, or celery with onion dip.
Books: Dan Brown's Angels and Demons, and Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns are two amazing books that come to mind right now. I read far too much to narrow it down to a few favourites, as I like most of what I read (otherwise, I wouldnt read it. Duh). Raymond Khoury's The Last Templar is also an awesome book.
Series: The Covert One series is how I first discovered Robert Ludlum's works; Im now addicted. The Axis Trilogy, and The Wayfarer Redemption, both by Sara Douglass are definately something to look into if you liked Tolkien's LotR (Read the books! So much better than the movies!) which was also one of my favourites.
Authors: Robert Ludlum, hands down. Steve Berry, Sara Douglass, Raymond Khoury and Joseph Finder also make the list.

Bookworm wut?!

TV Shows:The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Dirty Jobs, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Startrek: TNG, Startrek: Voyager, Stargate: Atlantis.

Songs: Metallica - The Unforgiven, Nothing Else Matters, and The Frayed Ends of Sanity. Mudvayne - Poop Loser, Cultivate, Fall Into Sleep, Prod. Nirvana - Rape Me, Heart-Shaped Box, Aneurysm. HIM - In Joy and Sorrow. Slipknot - Three Nil, Tattered & Torn, Everything Ends. Meshuggah - Aztec Two Step, Future Breed Machine.

Im actually not dancing.

Games: I was raised on Nintendo, and so Super Mario for Super NES is definately on this list, as well as, Super Smash Bros, and MarioKart64 for N64. GTA: San Andreas for PS2 is fun with certain people. Same with Starcraft: Broodwar online. Currently, Im having fun all ghillied up in Call of Duty 4 for PC.

Check out my orderly chaos.
